Our rules evolved as we went, and are rather loose, but here they are:

  • No artificial sweeteners
  • No agave syrup
  • Honey, as raw as possible*
  • Stevia**
  • Dried fruits, such as dates/raisins*
  • Eat foods as close to their natural states as possible.
  • Fruit is our candy!
We read our labels, and do our best, but we try not to be OCD about it all.


*Occasionally, as a treat.  Use caution, for those of us who were crack sugar addicts.

**Occasionally, and with caution, until further research.
